This Privacy Policy describes how Focus Blocker ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information in relation to your use of our Chrome extension.

We are committed to respecting your privacy. We do not collect, store, share, or sell your personal data.

1. Data Collection and Usage

Focus Blocker operates entirely locally on your device. We do not transmit any of your data to external servers.

Browsing Activity: We do not track, record, or analyse your browsing history. The extension checks URLs locally on your machine only to determine if they match the blocked sites you have configured.
User Settings: Your preferences (such as the list of blocked sites) are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage.sync API. This allows your settings to sync across your own devices if you are signed into Chrome, but we do not have access to this data.

The extension requires specific permissions to function correctly:

tabs: Required to detect when you navigate to a website so we can check if it is on your block list.
storage: Required to save your list of blocked websites and preferences.
host permissions (all_urls): Required to check the URL of any website you visit against your blocked list to effectively block distractions.

We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking scripts, or advertising services in this extension.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
